GeoInnovation is Esri Malaysia's annual conference and awards programme for the geographic information system (GIS) community. Creative Creed Associates Sdn. Bhd., a creative agency for events and exhibitions, produced the event for Esri Malaysia in January 2026.

The event

GeoInnovation Malaysia brings together users of GIS across government and the commercial sector. The 2026 programme focused on:

The format pairs a plenary conference with the GeoInnovation awards, which recognise organisations for their use of geospatial technology. That combination shapes the production: the plenary needs clear presentation of technical content, while the awards segment needs pace, recognition moments and a stage that works for winners and photographers alike.

What Creative Creed delivered

Creative Creed acted as event organiser for Esri Malaysia, carrying the conference-plus-awards format, the event identity and the client's way of working through planning and on to show day. Audio-visual, staging and technical elements were delivered by our event technical team with specialist partners.

Technology conferences carry a particular risk: content-heavy sessions can lose a room. Our job was to keep a technical programme easy to follow, and to give the awards the ceremony they deserve without letting either half of the day crowd out the other.

A continuing relationship

Esri Malaysia is an active client. Knowing the GeoInnovation format, identity and the client's internal rhythm means each edition starts from what worked before rather than from a blank page. The event also connects to Creative Creed's wider work on smart city and digital-economy platforms, including the Johor Smart City Forum 2025.
