Malaysia International Healthcare (MIH) Megatrends 2024 was a healthcare and medical innovation event designed to position Malaysia as a regional hub for healthcare transformation, medical technology and sustainable healthcare. It was held from 25 to 27 October 2024 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), and Creative Creed Associates Sdn. Bhd., a creative agency for events and exhibitions, delivered the event for KPJ Healthcare Berhad.
The event
MIH Megatrends brings the healthcare ecosystem into one venue: industry leaders, government agencies, healthcare professionals, investors and technology providers. The 2024 programme focused on:
- healthcare innovation and digital health;
- sustainability in healthcare;
- medical tourism;
- smart hospitals and future healthcare technologies.
The format
The event combined several formats under one programme:
- conference sessions;
- an exhibition with exhibitor booths;
- business matching;
- networking and knowledge-sharing sessions;
- an associated dinner.
A multi-format event like this is as much an operations job as a creative one. The conference, the exhibition floor and the business matching each have their own audience flow, and exhibitors need clear rules and support well before move-in.
What Creative Creed delivered
Creative Creed delivered the event, including event guidelines, seating plans and exhibitor booth proposals, alongside the associated dinner. Audio-visual, staging and technical elements were delivered by our event technical team with specialist partners.
The working relationship continued into 2025 with the pre-launch for MIH Megatrends 2025.
Outcome
MIH Megatrends 2024 gave industry, government and investors a shared platform to strengthen partnerships, promote innovation-led growth and support Malaysia's ambitions in healthcare at regional and international level.
