Sanubari 2023 was a property and lifestyle showcase held on 7 October 2023 at Kompleks Mutiara Johor Land, Johor Bahru, for the official launch of the Sanubari development at Bandar Dato' Onn. Creative Creed Associates Sdn. Bhd., a creative agency for events and exhibitions, delivered the launch event for JLG Land Berhad.
The brief
The launch had to introduce the Sanubari township to potential homeowners, investors and the public, and to make its positioning tangible. The development is built around modern smart living, sustainable community design and the line “Life. Beautifully Balanced.” The event needed to let visitors experience that idea, not just read it on a brochure.
What Creative Creed delivered
Creative Creed built the launch around experiential activations that reflected the development's connected, sustainable living concept:
- property showcases;
- AR and VR immersive experiences;
- smart home demonstrations;
- lifestyle exhibitions;
- a food and dessert festival;
- entertainment and community engagement programmes.
The AR and VR experiences and smart home demonstrations did the heavy lifting: they let visitors explore what living at Sanubari would feel like, rather than imagining it from plans. The food festival, entertainment and community programmes gave families a reason to come and stay. Audio-visual, staging and technical elements were delivered by our event technical team with specialist partners.
A continuing relationship
Sanubari 2023 is one of a long run of projects for JLG Land Berhad. Creative Creed has continued to work with the developer on later Sanubari phases and on corporate events such as the JLG Town Hall 2025.
